Every time he steps on the football field, Steven Jackson puts himself on the line for the love of the game.
Few players know the rigors of the NFL better than SJ39, so he was recently asked to appear on Fox News’ Geraldo at Large to talk about the game, his passion for it, the dangers associated with it and what can be done to make sure that players are kept safe from concussions and their long-term damage in the future.
“I don’t believe the average fan understands the way we feel on Mondays and Tuesdays, but we all do it for the love of the game,” Steven told host Geraldo Rivera. “We all understand it’s a collision sport and we take a great deal of responsibility in rehabbing our way back to health so that we can play the game that we love.”
